Notice Regarding Baggage Handling for Large Sports Equipment (Including Bicycles)

Thank you for your continued support and loyalty to Skymark Airlines.

We have received numerous inquiries from customers participating in cycling competitions and other events regarding their baggage.
We would like to inform you about the handling of large sports equipment, including bicycles.

• ■Per item:
  ・Weight: Within 32 kg
  ・Dimensions: Within 50cm x 60cm x 120cm
  
• ■Total baggage:
  Up to 100 kg per person. Please note that "excess baggage charges" will apply to baggage weighing between 20 kg and 100 kg.
  
• ■Oversized sports equipment (such as bicycles) exceeding the specified dimensions:
  Can only be accepted if there is sufficient space in the aircraft's cargo hold.

• ■Bicycles will not be accepted if they are not packed and protected, or if the packaging is inadequate or insufficient. We do not provide specialized cases, so please ensure that your bicycle is packed in a soft case or cardboard box beforehand.
• ■While we handle checked baggage with the utmost care, please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur.

• ■Some bicycle accessories, such as oils, sprays, and electronic devices, cannot be transported by aircraft. Additionally, any items whose safety cannot be confirmed will be refused for transport.
• ■Please check in your bicycle at least one hour before your scheduled departure time.
• ■Before and after competition periods and sporting events, we receive a high volume of checked baggage containing large sports equipment (such as bicycles). If the aircraft's cargo capacity is exceeded, we may not be able to accept your baggage. We recommend using a courier service during periods of anticipated congestion.
