Happy New Year.
As we welcome the start of 2026, I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes for the year ahead.

Last year, the Japanese aviation industry continued to operate under a challenging business environment, driven by the increasing complexity of international affairs, the depreciation of the yen, and rising fuel costs. Amidst these conditions, Skymark took a significant first step toward the resumption of our international services by operating charter flights between Kobe and Taipei. It was also a year in which we deepened our bond with our customers, with our "My Page" membership surpassing the one-million mark. Furthermore, we established our new MVV (Mission, Vision, and Values), solidifying the foundation for our next stage of growth.

The year 2026 marks a series of historic milestones for us. In February, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kobe Airport’s opening and the 20th anniversary of our operations there. This year also marks the centenary of New Chitose Airport—the gateway to Hokkaido—and the 20th anniversary of our New Chitose–Haneda route. Finally, on November 12, we will reach the significant milestone of Skymark’s 30th anniversary. Bearing in mind our founding spirit of "opening a new era in the aviation industry," we will continue to take on challenges unique to Skymark to provide even greater convenience for our passengers.

In this landmark year, we will begin the introduction of our successor aircraft, the Boeing 737-8, designed for enhanced fuel efficiency and decarbonization. By improving fuel efficiency, we aim to reduce fuel costs while simultaneously enhancing passenger convenience through the rollout of in-flight Wi-Fi services. Furthermore, we will proactively integrate AI and digital technologies to optimize and enhance our business processes, from flight operations to middle- and back-office functions. By balancing state-of-the-art aircraft with smart work practices, we will establish an unwavering management foundation.

Throughout this year, we remain committed to our Mission: "With safety as our foundation, we provide reliable, high-quality, simple, caring and comfortable air services at affordable prices." Our entire team will work as one to remain an "essential and beloved wing" for our customers, striving to be an airline that stays in their hearts.
