First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest sympathies to those affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. To those who have lost loved ones, I offer my sincerest condolences. Even as a year has passed since the disaster, I understand that many are still facing challenges and uncertainties. I pray for the safety of everyone and for the swift recovery of the affected areas.

Looking back, last year saw a remarkable recovery in demand for air travel, including for homecoming visits and leisure trips. At Skymark Airlines, we were honored to serve a record number of passengers, surpassing even the previous year. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of our customers and stakeholders, for which I am deeply grateful.

This year marks an important milestone for Japan’s aviation industry, with the increase in flight slots at Kobe Airport, the launch of international charter flights, and the expansion of runway capacity at Fukuoka Airport. For Skymark Airlines, these airports, along with Haneda Airport, are critical hubs, and we see these developments as significant opportunities. We are committed to leveraging these opportunities to further enhance our services.

Additionally, this year marks a significant milestone for us as we intensify preparations to welcome the next-generation Boeing 737-8 aircraft, which aligns with our commitment to greater fuel efficiency and advancing carbon neutrality. Amidst the rapidly changing global landscape and business environment, we remain steadfast in our dedication to our core principles: prioritizing safety above all else, valuing our customers’ time, and delivering simple, warm, and sincere service along with a comfortable travel experience at accessible prices. Guided by these principles, we will humbly continue striving for greater heights as a company.
