Thank you for your continued support and loyalty to Skymark Airlines.

Skymark Airlines has decided to introduce in-flight Wi-Fi service on its upcoming Boeing 737-8 and 737-10 aircraft.
Also, we have signed an agreement with Intelsat, a leading provider of satellite communication technology, to implement an in-flight Wi-Fi system utilizing Intelsat’s cutting-edge ESA (Electronically Steered Array) antenna technology.

The ESA antenna, developed by Intelsat, is thinner and lighter compared to traditional 2Ku antennas, contributing to reduced airframe drag and lower operational costs.
Additionally, the system leverages both Low Earth Orbit (LEO)*1 and Geostationary Orbit (GEO)*2 satellites, offering advanced technology for enhanced connectivity.

  • *1Approximately 160–2,000 km above the Earth’s surface
  • *2Approximately 36,000 km above the Earth’s surface

Details regarding the new in-flight Wi-Fi service, including availability and features, will be announced at a later date.
