Skymark Airlines Inc., Hankyu Travel International Co., Ltd., and Kansai Airports Kobe joined to offer a "One-day Mt. Fuji Sightseeing Charter Flight on Pikachu Jet from Kobe Airport" on December 9. Hankyu Travel International will begin accepting applications Today.
This charter flight was made possible by the desires of the three companies to revitalize Kobe Airport and to support the growth of children who will lead the next generation. The Pikachu Jet BC*, a specially painted airplane with Pokémon, will make a round trip from Kobe Airport and fly above Mt. Fuji. In addition, we will provide fun events such as an aviation class and photo session at Kobe Airport.
- *An airplane without the Pikachu paint may be used, or the flight route may change without prior notice due to inclement weather, aircraft arrangement, and other factors.
Pikachu will see you off and greet you before and after the flight. During the flight, a pilot will give you a lecture about the flight route, and you may win a prize through a lottery. After landing, you can experience the airplane towing* into the hangar while on board, followed by the events shown below.

This is the third charter flight by Pikachu Jet BC, following a round trip between Ibaraki Airport and Chubu International Airport in June 2022 and a tour around Shimojishima Airport (Miyakojima, Okinawa) in January 2023. Customers who have participated so far were delighted with the flights and shared their voices as "The plane was so big!”, “Pikachu was so cute!” or “Pikachu's in-flight announcement made me happy!”
