Regarding the Handling of Power Banks Onboard
In accordance with the request of the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB), we have strengthened measures to address potential risks such as smoke or fire caused by power banks onboard.
To ensure a safer and more comfortable journey for all passengers, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following guidelines:
Storage Guidelines
Please do not store power banks in the overhead compartment.
To allow for prompt action in the unlikely event of a malfunction, power banks must be kept within reach, such as in your seat pocket or personal belongings.
Charging Guidelines
When charging portable electronic devices using a power bank or charging a power bank via the in-flight power supply, please ensure the device remains in a location where you can monitor it at all times.
Applicable as of: July 8, 2025
If you notice any irregularities, such as unusual heat or odor, please inform a cabin crew member immediately.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and pleasant flight experience.
Thank you for choosing to fly with us, and we look forward to serving you.
